God made the sun, then the stars
(i.e. the sun is older than the stars, which are somehow different things)
- Gen 1:16

Scientists have observed and dated stars many millions of years older than our sun.

We have plenty of evidence that our sun is nothing but an ordinary, medium-sized star.

It is not unlike billions upon billions of others in our universe.

God made two great lights, one to rule over the day, the other the night
( our Sun and the Earth's moon )
- Gen 1:16

The moon is not a light.

It often reflects the luminance of the sun, though there are many instances when the moon does not-
for example, when the Earth is between it and the sun.

Often it is not seen at all during a given night depending on its phase and where on the planet you happen to be standing. It can also be seen during the day many times a month.
Thus it does not "rule the night". I do.

Snakes are cursed to crawl on their bellies and eat dust
- Gen 3:14

Snakes, while built low, do not eat dust

Insects have four feet
- Lev 11:23

Insects do not have four feet. ALL insects have six feet. There are no known flying creatures on this planet at any time with four feet.

Bats are birds
- Deut 14:11-18, Lev 11:13-19

Bats are mammals.

Rabbits chew their cud
- Deut 14:7

Rabbits don't chew their cud.
