Let my people go

Over-staying your welcome

The Hebrews dwelt in Egypt for 430 years
- Ex 12:40

Or was it...

They dwelt in Egypt for 400 years
- Acts 7:6

Contradictory travel plans

The Hebrews' journey itinerary:

  • Mount Hor (where aaron dies), then
  • Zalmonah, and finally to
  • Punon
  • - Num 33:37-38,41,42

What's this? A change of plans?

Start with a tour of sunny

  • Beeroth Benejaakan, then a flit to
  • Moserah(where aaron dies) then to
  • Gudgodah, and ending in
  • Jotbathah
  • - Deut 10:6,7

Wild, wild horses...

The god-delivered plague of murrain killed all the Egyptians' horses, and all livestock
-Ex 9:3-6

New plagues come that cause festering boils to appear on the Egyptians' livestock (who were all killed previously), and next comes a hailstone that will kill all Egyptian livestock that are not brought to shelter (it even details how some of Pharaoh's men secretly believed in the god of abrahm and brought their livestock in shelter before these storms came) - kinda funny when all livestock were dead already
