He lives in dazzling light

Yet he lives in darkness

God is supposedly omniscient

yet this god has a history of not knowing things

He encounters his arch enemy, satan and doesn't even recognize him
- Job 1:6-7

can't find the only two humans on earth
- Gen 3:9

nor later, abel in
- Gen 4:9,10

He has never been seen
- John l:l8

and is invisible
- l Timothy 6:l5-l6

BUT if anyone does see this invisible god, he or she will die
- Ex 33:20

Turns out, he was seen numerous times and the witnesses lived to tell the story

Further, we hear that "the lord spake unto moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend."

God never changes

But does frequently change his mind and even regrets openly what he's done
(this is commonly referred to as repenting, for the rest of us)

Remember though — god never repents

God forbids lying
- Ex 20:16, Ex 23:1,7, Proverbs 25:18

God lies
- 2 Thess 2:11, Jeremiah 20:6-7, Proverbs 25:2

God forbids killing
- Ex 20:13, Ex 23:7

God commands killing
- Ex 32:27, 1 Sam 15:3, Ezek 9:5,6, Gen 17:9-14 et al.

God actually commits murder himself
- Ex 7:3-4,13,14, 10:1-20,
Gen 6:5,7, 7:23, Num12:9, et al.

Now, remember; god never urges man to do wrong nor does he ever do "wrong" himself

God blesses peace in

but brings war in
