God meets moses and seeks to kill him.

In a bizarre kind of head-fake; zipporah, moses' wife, takes a knife and cuts the foreskin from her son's penis then throws it against moses' feet. She then comments on how bloody moses is.
God is apparently impressed, (wouldn't you be?) since this act seems to be the only thing that keeps him from killing moses after all.
God is omnipotent; responsible for the creation of everything.

Seems god sends ten plagues on Egypt since Pharaoh won't release the Hebrews, but first he deliberately hardens Pharaoh's heart so that he'll refuse to release the Hebrews, making these plagues necessary at all.
God admits that this is so he can perform 'his wonders'
