Jesus is without sin

Jesus says only his father is without sin

Jesus and god are one

Jesus and god are separate
- Matt 19:16,17, Luke 18:19, implied by hundreds of others.

As you may or may not know, the concept of the trinity is not actually referenced anywhere in the bible.

Joseph of Arimathea is a "secret disciple of jesus" who previously feared recriminations from the Jewish Priests.
- John 19:38

He was simply a previously unknown "follower of jesus"
- Matt 27:57

He was an honored member of the Jewish high court who was "eagerly expecting the arrival of god's kingdom"
- Mark 15:42,43, Luke 23:50

Now, if everybody who was "eagerly expecting the arrival of god's kingdom" was a disciple, then there must be have been hundreds of 'em running around the place...

The author of Matthew claims jeremiah prophesied the 30 pieces of silver, etc.
- Matt 27:9-10

However, zechariah made that prophecy
- Zechariah 11:12-13

Simon and andrew's home was in Capernaum
- Mark 1:21, 29

Simon and andrew's home was in the same place as philip's - Bethsaida
- John 1:44

No man can retain the spirit after death
- Eccles 8:8

Peter restores spirit of tabitha after her death
- Acts 9:37, 40

Jesus tells the high priest that he (the priest) would see his (jesus') return
- Mark 14:61-62

He told three disciples that they would (live to) see his return
- Matt 16;28

He told the disciples he would return before they had preached throughout Palestine
- Matt 10:23

The generation living at that time (circa 30 christian era) was to be still be alive when "all these things" took place
- Mark 13:3-30

Might be worth noting that current scientific opinion holds that the world has not yet ended.

However it has been shown that the generations of all the actors in the bible have long since passed. Hmmm.

Those who crucified him will see him return (2nd time) "with their own eyes"
- Revelation 1:7

Despite saying all these definite statements above, only seconds later he tells the disciples that no one - including himself (I thought he knew *everything*) - knew when the end would come
- Mark 13:32

Time from resurrection to ascension?

At least the time it took the eleven disciples to walk from Jerusalem to Galilee - some 60-70 miles north
- Matt 28:16-20

More than eight days (this does not include events described in the more recent addition of John's chapter 21)
- John 20:26

With the John 21 appendix, this means it was even longer as it also features a Galilean appearance. One must add to the tale at least the time it would have taken the disciples to walk there.

40 days
- Acts 1:3

However, it is made very clear that jesus rose, made all his appearances, and ascended into heaven - wait for it - all on the same day!
- Luke 24:13, 33, 36, 50

Because it says the post crucifixion events happen on the same day, Luke makes an appearance at, or journey to Galilee impossible because everything reportedly happens in the area of Jerusalem.

Remember, the disciples are told to stay there until Pentecost ( Luke 24:49 ) and at the conclusion, jesus ascends to heaven from Bethany -just outside Jerusalem- that day.
